OBI’s conference for 75 pastors in Peru, planned for the end of October, has been postponed. Shortly before the team arrived, they learned that the region had serious security concerns, and after prayer and counsel they decided not to go. The Peruvian hosts graciously agreed, and the conference will be rescheduled in a safer location, with an OBI team returning to minister.
It was a difficult decision, but “in the multitude of counsellors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14). Just as Paul was once kept by the Spirit from going into Asia and Mysia (Acts 16:6–7), OBI wants to listen for the Lord’s direction and protection in every journey.
This would have been OBI’s seventh overseas trip of 2025, a year in which ministry teams served in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Honduras, South Korea, and the Philippines. To God be the glory.
