This summer, OBI held a conference in Kenya for 100 pastors from ten counties, representing 21 different church backgrounds: independents, Baptists, charismatics, Pentecostals, and even a couple of Quakers. They were united in spirit and purpose, and many experienced a transformation of mind and ministry. As one put it, “This must be like heaven!” Jesus prayed “that they may be one… that the world may believe” (John 17:21).
At an OBI conference in Togo, a young pastor who had been through a hard year told the team that, in his heart, he had already given up on the ministry. “You restored my life,” he said. Others said they had never heard such things before.
In August, OBI went on to Nepal for two conferences, and then to Honduras for a two-day conference for 45 pastors, held alongside a medical outreach.
